Parking Enforcement Team Leader

Steve manages a team of Civil Enforcement Officers who monitor parking in Bath city centre.
Since joining our Highways Service, Steve’s been able to develop previously held skills in a new area. He’s learned on-the-job from the whole team, and also benefited from training tailored to his role. He’s working towards a City and Guilds qualification, which will equip him to take on more responsibility.
Steve loves the spirit and work ethic in the team he manages: “There is a real positive, "can do" attitude to getting the job done to the highest standard.”
He says B&NES council compares very well with previous employers he’s had, especially with regard to employee welfare support. Flexible working keeps his work / life balance in good shape, and he really appreciates spending his working day in the historic centre of Bath.
